Hi, I’m Alyssa-Rae and I am a seamstress and an overall creative person.
I would like to help you with your creative sewing endeavours. I love to sew and I’m passionate about learning how to make things for my home and my wardrobe. Sewing is such a wonderful skill and can often save you a lot of money. I want a home and wardrobe that reflects me and has my personal touch and I want to show you how you can have that too along with some tips and tricks.
I am good at organizing, sewing, and coming up with ideas for projects I can do at home. I also love to play music, mainly the piano but also a few other instruments as well.
I have been sewing for quite a few years. I was taught to sew by my mom as a little girl and later on got some expert help from my cousin. I have taken some online courses as well as learn from trial and error (and lots of it)! I sew lots of things for my home and my wardrobe.
Here are some fun facts about me:
- I love coffee (as most humans do) 🙂
- I can’t relax if my house is a mess
- I love my family and enjoy making my house into a home where they are all welcome
- I talk a lot but I actually enjoy being home by myself so I can clean and just get things done
- I thrive on organization and to-do lists
- Cooking is something I love to do and a skill I want to grow as much as possible
- I enjoy shopping with my friends and having jamming sessions in the winter evenings with a cup of coffee, of course
- I really enjoy skiing and hunting although I do neither very often
- I love being outside relaxing around a bonfire
- I love all things DIY
