Quick Tip
Always read your sewing machine manual for instructions
Step: 1 – Insert the thread onto the holder
To begin your going to load your thread onto the holder on the top part of your sewing machine. (as pictured)
Step: 2 – Thread the Bobbin
Next, follow the numbered path on top of the machine, as shown, with the thread.
Next, you are going to thread the bobbin by pulling the thread through the little hole from the inside out, and then winding the thread around the bobbin by hand 5 or 6 times to ensure it is secure.
(Tip: Make sure to pay close attention to which direction the thread should be loaded on the bobbin in order to ensure the thread winds around the bobbin and doesn’t unwind.)
Push the bobbin to the right and press the start button to thread the bobbin.
Important
Make sure you buy the right size bobbins for your machine. The size should be listed in your machine manual or you can usually find it by googling your machine model.
Step: 3 – Follow the numbered path on your sewing machine
After loading your bobbin with thread, cut the thread between the spool and the bobbin and place the bobbin in the bobbin holder at the base of the needle and follow the directions for loading.
Then take the thread from your spool at the top of the machine and follow the numbered path along the sewing machine.
Step: 4 – Thread your Needle
Next, you need to thread the needle either by hand if your sewing machine doesn’t come with a threader or use the threader on your machine. You can also get needle threaders that are not attached to the machine as well.
Step: 5 – Lower the needle to pull the bobbin thread through
The final step is to lower the needle and pull it back up once, by using the wheel on the Side of the machine, in order to pull the bobbin thread up through the plate.
Now you’re ready to sew!!
I hope these directions make it simple for you to thread your machine and help make the steps clearer.
